Tai Chi – Wanna get younger?
Turn the clock with Tai Chi. Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art technique with detailed and slow movements to involve the entire body. The technique is often referred to as “meditation in motion”, so much so that today it has evolved into an exercise regime that alleviates stress and anxiety.
The movements and positions practiced in Tai Chi do not put stress on any muscle or tendon, however provide activation for all. Easily practiced by people of all age groups, especially computer and smartphone users.
Qigong- for natural healing and health
Qigong is an older practise than Tai chi, that also originated in China (more that 3000 years ago). It uses gentle movement, breathing techniques and meditation to cleanse and balance “qi” (life energy). It consists of various postures and exercises, including circular movements, controlled breathing, self-massage (touch-therapy).
Similar to Tai Chi, Qigong extends benefits to people of all ages, beliefs and physical state. It does not require any special equipment and can be practised anytime. There are some sets of styles, within Qigong, which are classified as medical, spiritual or martial in nature.
Lajin for deeper conditioning
Lajin is a newly design Chinese method with particular attention to sinews and their stretching. It is a relatively intense activity which aims to strengthen muscles and tendons. It aims to reinforce the muscles, ligaments and bones. The main exercises are known as the 8-posture moving exercises to open up the meridians. The Chinese medicine explains that different illnesses are due to blockage of certain meridians.
